The Church of Saint John the Evangelist is an Anglican Church seeking to serve the local community. We are a Christian Community, a Christian family, which tries to celebrate the gift of life spiritually and socially. Jesus has taught us to: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. And love your neighbour as yourself." (Mark 12:30f). This ties together the spiritual and the social and as a Christian community we try to love God and one another in worship, in work -- and in our daily living. Our Services are held at the following times. Please feel free to come along and attend any of our services as you are assured a warm and friendly welcome.

The Parish Social Club hosts various funding, including a popular "Friends Association" for senior citizens on Wednesday afternoon.

Friendship Club
SACRED HEART, SWAN LANE, HINDLEY GREEN.
We meet in Sacred Heart Club every Wednesday afternoon at 2.00pm and, after a few games of bingo, a cup of tea and biscuits, and not forgetting a friendly chat, the club finishes at about 3.45pm.
